Last night we all went to Perola’s house for a party. We played the piano, sang, painted and enjoyed each others company until the birds began to whistle outside and rays of light shined through the cracks in the shutters. At noon today, with heavy eyes, we curled up on the couch to watch FlutuArte on Globo TV. It was surreal for me to see FlutuArte on TV. I am so engaged in the project that it is easy to forget to take a step back and look at the work that is being created. Seeing the floating gallery on the largest TV network in all of Brazil was automatic perspective. I feel proud of the hard work we’ve done to make this project manifest. I am excited to have more testament that dreams and vision, no matter how crazy they can seem can become reality with persistence, time and dedication. What was once a mere idea and colorful image in my mind is now quickly becoming a reality in the world. One more month to go. Now we plan the opening… I have lots of ideas. This is gonna be something special.
