A new video about Hearts of the World in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!
We went around the favela and shouted “Vamos pintar! Vamos pintar!” (let’s go paint) and the children came out of their houses and called together their friends and we sat in a circle on the dirt road as they all painted for the first time in their lives. They painted with total abandon and after finishing their works they covered themselves with paint and laughing, ran after each other in the street with handfuls of color.
