The 4 Aces, our next portals project in Vienna opened yesterday with an unveiling event at the Albertina Museum. I could not be there as I had some things to attend to in New York, but I photoshopped myself into the unveiling ceremony so I could feel like I was there.

4 ACES, by four of us: Perola Bonfanti, Zel Nonnenberg, Marilia Vasconcellos and myself, is an interactive public art project combining state-of-the art technology and the public space. In the unique setting of the Vienna Hofburg Palace, a physical and virtual scavenger hunter takes place involving artistic installations in courtyards and along pathways. The game is controlled by an app specially developed by Ars Electronica Solutions that can be downloaded to smartphones. The app guides users through the area of the Hofburg, to the four 4 Aces and also a surprise location. The game starts on the veranda of the Albertina Museum. The installations hold a secret, but the doors can only be opened in the course of the game if the players can answer the questions and complete the given tasks correctly. Each installation gives a hint to find the next one, until all secrets are unveiled.

Since I have been in New York, I have not been able to see the reaction of the People, but I am excited to find out soon~
