Indian truck art is a tradition, a culture. The drivers of these trucks spend so much time in them and giving them fantastical paint jobs makes the mundane more exciting. You can tell these guys are passionate about their trucks.

We just found our vehicle! It’s a “Tata Sumo.” We will be spending a lot of time in it over the next three months, and so of course, we’re going to paint it!

We are off to Varanasi for our first Hearts of the World workshop as soon as we finish registering our vehicle (which is proving to be quite an ordeal!)
