One of the best things about organizing big group art projects is getting to meet talented people from all over the place. Shalak Attack, from Montreal, Canada is one of my favorite artists. She came to Rio to paint a boat for FlutuArte, a unique public art project I started with my friend Maxine Nienow three months ago in Rio de Janeiro. Her work is dynamic and bold and she’s not afraid to use color.
